Privacy policy

Duermevela does not collect, store on any server, share or sell personal data.

• No internet access. The app does not request the INTERNET permission, so it technically cannot send data anywhere.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. Besides the Android framework it only uses Android libraries (AndroidX/Jetpack) and Kotlin, which run inside the app and send nothing.
• No microphone. The app never listens to you. All sounds (rain, sea, birds…) are generated on the phone itself.
• Motion sensor. Only during a sleep session and only if Apagar cuando me duerma (turn off when I fall asleep) is on, the app reads the accelerometer to notice whether you are still moving. It works with one number per second in memory to decide when to lower the volume; nothing is recorded or saved, and the sensor is released when the session ends. It needs no permission.
• Screen on, off and unlock. During a sleep session the app also notices when the screen is turned on, off or unlocked, for the same purpose. Nothing is saved.
• Notifications. Used to show the notification while a sound is playing, with the button to stop it, also on the lock screen.
• Exact alarms and start at boot. Used only so that the gentle wake-up starts at the time you chose, and to set it again after restarting the phone or changing the time or time zone. Android shows the alarm icon in the status bar.
• Keeping the phone awake. While a sound is playing, the app keeps the processor awake (with a limit of 4 hours) so it does not stop with the screen off.
• Settings. Your choices (sounds, volumes, sleep detection options, wake-up time, days and duration) are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app. If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include them in your device backup in your Google account; that backup is managed by Android and Google, and IAnMove never receives it.
• Links. The links on the About screen open in your browser.
• Children. The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
• Changes. If the app ever handles data differently, this policy will be updated and its date changed.
