Privacy policy

Lupa does not collect, store on any server, share or sell personal data.

• No internet access. The app does not request the INTERNET permission, so it technically cannot send data anywhere.
• No ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. The app contains no advertising or tracking code.
• Camera. It is the only permission the app asks for, to show the magnified image on screen. The image is processed on the phone itself and nothing is recorded while you look.
• Your photos stay on your device. An image is only saved when you press Save: it goes to the Pictures/Lupa folder on your phone (through Android's photo store, with no storage permission). It is only shared with another app if you press Share.
• Photo list. The app only shows the photos it saved itself; it cannot see the rest of your gallery.
• Torch and screen light. They only turn on the flash or raise the screen brightness while you use the app.
• Quick Settings tile and shortcuts. They only open the app.
• Links. The links on the About screen open in your browser.
• Children. The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Settings (mode, magnification, filter, chosen camera and scale calibration) are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the app.
